7/1 – Canada Day
For all of the Canucks out there we have a category just for you! Whether you’re hosting a backyard BBQ, joining a local parade, or enjoying quality time with loved ones, these templates will compliment your photos with a festive touch of red and white. Say “Happy Birthday” to Canada and share how you will be celebrating the kickoff to summer!
7/4 – Independence Day, US
Celebrate the Fourth of July in any way that inspires you this year. The app is full of classic red, white, and blue options to frame your memories with a touch of Americana. If you are looking for some inspiring quotes for the holiday check out our list of favorites. We also packed the app with tons of fun invitation templates this year to help you get the party started. For a pro touch – try adding the “All Is Bright” stickers in red to give your collage a new level of sparkle to match the fireworks.
7/7 – Tanabata, JP
Prepare to be swept away by the enchanting magic of Tanabata (七夕), Japan’s captivating “star festival.” It takes place on the 7th day of the 7th month each year. The festival celebrates the meeting of two lovers Orihime and Hikoboshi, who were tragically separated by the Milky Way (as the legend goes!) During the celebration, people write their wishes on small, colorful paper (tanzaku). These delicate strips of dreams are then delicately hung from bamboo branches, forming a tapestry of hopes and aspirations. Try writing your wish on our Tanzaku template by simply tapping on the text and customizing it to join in the festival.
7/10 – National Kitten Day
We’re not kitten you – there really is a holiday for this! Celebrate this fun holiday by making a collage of your precious feline friend. 7/13 – PicCollage’s Birthday
We don’t mind tooting our own horn a little – PicCollage is turning 12!!! We first launched in the app store in July of 2011 so we like to mark every July with an extra special release of new birthday content. You can definitely use it to make us a card 😉 but it will also come in handy for all of the summer birthdays coming up for your loved ones!

7/23 – Parent’s Day, US Only
Get ready to give a standing ovation to all the moms and dads out there who have perfected the art of juggling diapers, tantrums, and a mountain of laundry. Parents’ Day celebrates and recognizes the teamwork that goes into raising children and acknowledges the role of parental guidance in building a strong, stable society. 7/25 – Christmas in July

7/30 – International Friendship Day
We’re a little obsessed with International Friendship Day. There is just something so encouraging about taking time to celebrate the friends who make life a little sweeter. Our designers can’t stop finding cute and colorful BFF templates so the category is a little full this year. Take advantage of all the options and make a sweet card or story for a friend.. or two.. or three!
