Top Design Tips For Your Wedding Stationery

Do you have a 2023 Bride or Bride-to-be in your life? Maybe you are one yourself! Here at PicCollage HQ, we have a few team members of our own tying the knot and we couldn’t be more excited. It will come as no surprise that many of us here are passionate about design and stationery – and what better excuse to design beautiful stationery than a wedding?!

For this blog post, we sat down with team member Amelia and she shared some of the things she’s learned so far as a 2023 Bride – as well as her top tips for using PicCollage to create beautiful wedding stationery. Scroll down to read her recommendations!

Photos can be foundation of a fantastic invite!

“We took a whole bunch of engagement photos before I started designing my Save the Dates – not only was it a super fun day, but one of my favorite photos became the centrepiece of the invite. I used the Cutout tool in our app to make our portrait really pop in front of the text – and I’ve had so many compliments on the result!”

Don’t overthink it

“I spent ages trying to design the bridesmaid card for my ‘bridesmaids-to-be’ – I wanted it to be perfect! But PicCollage is full of gorgeous, ready-to-go invites and in the end I fell in love with this one. This design is just so on-trend and colorful – everybody loved it!”

Narrow down your theme

“At first I was a bit overwhelmed browsing through backgrounds and stickers on the app – there’s so many to choose from! But once I had worked out that wildflowers were going to be a big part of my wedding, that really helped me narrow down my choices.

I love this “Dried Flower Scrapbook” background pack paired with the “Bright Wedding” sticker pack, and I used it to share my engagement photos with friends and family!”

We hope Amelia’s tips have helped inspire you if you’re starting to craft your own wedding stationery set! Stay tuned to our instagram for more interviews and top tips in the coming months.
