Top Design Tips For Your Wedding Stationery

Do you have a 2023 Bride or Bride-to-be in your life? Maybe you are one yourself! Here at PicCollage HQ, we have a few team members of our own tying the knot and we couldnโ€™t be more excited. It will come as no surprise that many of us here are passionate about design and stationery – and what better excuse to design beautiful stationery than a wedding?!

For this blog post, we sat down with team member Amelia and she shared some of the things sheโ€™s learned so far as a 2023 Bride – as well as her top tips for using PicCollage to create beautiful wedding stationery. Scroll down to read her recommendations!

Photos can be foundation of a fantastic invite!

โ€œWe took a whole bunch of engagement photos before I started designing my Save the Dates – not only was it a super fun day, but one of my favorite photos became the centrepiece of the invite. I used the Cutout tool in our app to make our portrait really pop in front of the text – and Iโ€™ve had so many compliments on the result!โ€

Donโ€™t overthink it

โ€œI spent ages trying to design the bridesmaid card for my โ€˜bridesmaids-to-beโ€™ – I wanted it to be perfect! But PicCollage is full of gorgeous, ready-to-go invites and in the end I fell in love with this one. This design is just so on-trend and colorful – everybody loved it!โ€

Narrow down your theme

โ€œAt first I was a bit overwhelmed browsing through backgrounds and stickers on the app – thereโ€™s so many to choose from! But once I had worked out that wildflowers were going to be a big part of my wedding, that really helped me narrow down my choices.

I love this “Dried Flower Scrapbookโ€ background pack paired with the โ€œBright Weddingโ€ sticker pack, and I used it to share my engagement photos with friends and family!โ€

We hope Ameliaโ€™s tips have helped inspire you if youโ€™re starting to craft your own wedding stationery set! Stay tuned to our instagram for more interviews and top tips in the coming months.
