November is almost here and, we’ll be the first to say it, there are A LOT of holidays this month. In addition to the big ones (Thanksgiving, Diwali, first day of Hanukkah) there are also some fun, lesser-known days that deserve to be commemorated as well (looking at you, World Kindness Day!). Day of the Dead – 11/1
Day of the Dead, or Día de los Muertos, is a joyful celebration where family and friends gather to pay respects and to remember friends and family members who have passed on. US Election Day – 11/2
Local government matters! This November 2nd, many places in the U.S. are holding local elections for mayoral races, school board races, and more. Use our “Let’s Vote” stickers to show that you’re making your voice heard!
Diwali – 11/4
Diwali is India’s biggest and most important holiday. This 5 day festival of lights is celebrated by over 1 billion people around the world and it symbolizes the spiritual victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance. American Football Day – 11/5
Over 100 million people in the U.S. watch football every year, so it makes sense that there’s a dedicated day to celebrate this sport. Veterens Day – 11/11
Veterans Day is celebrated every year on November 11th in the U.S. to celebrate military veterans. Thank those who have served by making a patriotic card or collage!

Fun fact: November 11th (or Double 11) is known across China as “Singles’ Day”! The date marks an unofficial holiday (and big shopping season) for those who are not in a relationship. On the same day, Japan celebrates this similar holiday known as “Pocky Day” where as Korea celebrates is as “Pepero Day”. Here’s an adorable template to celebrate singleness and all comes with it!
World Kindness Day – 11/13
