Say hello to October, the spookiest and sweetest month of the year! From fun holidays like National Dessert Day to mindful moments like World Mental Health Day to Halloween (of course!), we’ve rounded up the days this month that should be on your calendar. 10/1 – World Postcard Day
Who doesn’t love getting a postcard in the mail? On October 1st, celebrate World Postcard Day by using PicCollage to make fun cards that you can print out and send to friends or family. Maybe you want to highlight an exciting adventure you went on recently, or you just want to simply let someone know you’re thinking of them. Whatever the reason, we’ve got plenty of content in the app to help you create the perfect postcard.
To access our beautiful pre-made designs, head to the “Templates” section in the app and type in “Postcard.” You can also create something from scratch by adding a photo from a recent trip, writing “Greetings from _________ (whatever awesome place you went!)” and adding some cute stickers. (Pro tip: add a frame to you photo to make it look like a real postcard! Just double tap the photo and then tap“Border.”)

10/5 – World Teacher’s Day
Now that the school year is in full swing, show all the teachers out there some love! October 5th is World Teacher’s Day, the perfect opportunity to make a cute card letting them know how much you and your little ones appreciate all they do. Head to the “Templates” section of the app and search “Teacher’s Day” for all the adorable options!
10/9 – Canadian Thanksgiving
On October 9th, our friends in Canada celebrate Thanksgiving! Whether you want to create an invite for Thanksgiving Dinner or make a collage to commemorate a wonderful day with family and friends, we’ve got the templates and content you need! Simply search “Thanksgiving” in the templates section of the app to see all the designs and start personalizing your collage.
10/10 – World Mental Health Day
The theme of World Mental Health Day 2023 is “Mental health is a universal human right.” Use this as an opportunity to improve knowledge, raise awareness and drive actions that promote and protect everyone’s mental health as a universal human right. Make a design in PicCollage that can be shared to social media to bring attention to the cause! Just search “Mental Health Awareness” in the templates to see all the designs.
10/14 – National Dessert Day (US)
October 14th might just be the sweetest day of the year! Celebrate your sweet tooth on National Dessert Day by making a collage featuring your favorite treat. Whether it’s cake, donuts, pie, or another delicious dessert, you’ll be able to find all the templates, stickers, and backgrounds you need in the app to create the most delectable designs!

10/23 – Dussehra

10/31 – Halloween
What’s better than dressing up in your most out-there costume, throwing a party with spooky decorations, and eating lots of candy. Not much if you ask us!
