Introducing Magic Lift: One Tool, Endless Possibilities

Have you ever had a photo where part of it was just perfect but you wanted to change the background, resize the subject, or rearrange the elements in the photo? Then youโ€™ll love our newest feature, Magic Lift. This fun feature automatically โ€œliftsโ€ the subject of your images from the background (and fills in the empty space!) so that you can apply different effects, quickly and easily creating a unique photo you absolutely love.

One of the many reasons we adore this new feature so much is that there really are endless ways to use it! Scroll down to see just a few of the creative ways to take your photos to the next level with Magic Lift. (But remember to update to the latest version of PicCollage first so you can access Magic Lift!)

1. Edit the background, not the subjects

If you have a photo with a great subject (think a beautiful bouquet of flowers or a shot of you where you look ah-maz-ing) but the background isnโ€™t quite right, Magic Lift is the solution. Simply open the PicCollage app and click on the Magic Lift card on our home page or click this link to choose the photo you want to work with. PicCollage will automatically separate the main subject from the background, giving you the freedom to get creative. We love this example, where the background was edited to black and white, so the flowers really pop!

2.Reposition subject around

Magic Lift also allows you to move the main subject around in the photo, repositioning it to give your image a completely new look! Even if you didnโ€™t actually climb that mountain, with Magic Lift, you can make it look like you did ๐Ÿ˜‰

3. Scaling the subject

Magic Lift is also great for scaling the subject of your photo, making it bigger or smaller in comparison to the background. How fun is this example, where this adorable pup is made pocket-sized thanks to the app?

We hope you love Magic Lift as much as we do, and we canโ€™t wait to see what you create using this new feature! Be sure to follow along on social @piccollage for more insider tips and tricks!
