Celebrate Diwali with PicCollage

As we get ready to celebrate Diwali on November 12, we wanted to share a bit of information on this joyous celebration that’s often referred to as the Festival of Lights, and how you can use PicCollage to commemorate the occasion! As the biggest holiday in India, Diwali celebrates the triumph of light over darkness. In fact, the word Diwali comes from the Sanskrit word dipavali, meaning “row of lights.”

In most of India, the holiday consists of a five-day celebration that peaks on the third day with the main celebration. People honor the holiday by spending time with family and loved ones, cooking up a delicious feast, and decorating their homes with candles or diyas, which are oil lamps made from clay or mud.

We’ve created tons of content in PicCollage to help you make the perfect cards to document your Diwali celebrations. Scroll down to see some of the content in the app that will help your collages and cards shine bright this year.
