When people think of February holidays, the first thing that probably comes to mind for many people is Valentine’s Day. And while that is a big one, there are other great holidays that are worthy of celebration, too! 2/2 – Groundhog Day

2/3 – Setsubun
Setsubun, or “seasonal division”, is a festival held in early February 2, 3 or 4, one day before the start of spring according to the Japanese lunar calendar. For many centuries, people have been celebrating this holiday by throwing beans to chase away evil spirits at the start of spring. People also eat Ehomaki, a unique type of sushi roll that is generally eaten only on Setsubun, for good luck! Celebrate this holiday with one of the templates in the app!
