How to Elevate Your OOTD Post with PicCollage

There’s nothing like a good OOTD photo to show the world who we are by wearing something that we love. From figuring out our best angles, to trying out creative poses, we have our own ways to capture the perfect shot. While most people settle for a good selfie, we believe that there are other ways in which you can elevate your OOTD game, without needing a glam squad or a professional photographer. We’ve come up with a few ways you can celebrate your own style, with these fun and creative OOTD-inspired collages!

1. Use the“Cutout” Tool to Create a Collage Using Your OOTD Photo.

Step 1: Open the PicCollage app, and tap “Freestyle”.

Step 2: Tap “Photos” and select your favorite OOTD snapshot.

Step 3: Press or double tap on the photo, and select “Cutout”. Run your index finger along your silhouette until you come back to your starting point. Choose between your hand-trimmed cutout on the left, or an automatically-generated silhouette that has a cleaner background on the right. Once you’ve selected your desired cutout, tap “Add”, and trace your finger around the trimmed area that you want to include back into your cutout image. Tap “Erase”, and do the same to reverse the process. Feel free to play around with this feature until you’re satisfied with your cutout.

Step 4: Tap on the “Backgrounds” and “Stickers” icons to begin decorating your collage.

Step 5: Tap on the “Text” icon to name your style or describe your look.

Step 6: Tap on the “Web Image” and “Doodle” icons to further embellish your collage.

Step 7: Once you’re happy with your collage, tap “Done” and “Save to Library”.

2. Use the“Web Image” Feature to Create a Fashion Flat Lay.

Step 1: Think of a style or a particular look that you want to create. For this example, we chose a “Girls’ Night” fashion look.

Step 2: Decide on a color theme, and start visualizing individual pieces that would fit your chosen style.

Step 3: Open the PicCollage app, and tap “Freestyle”.

Step 4: Tap the “Layout” icon, and in the “Size” tab, select the appropriate canvas size that you want to work with.

Step 5: On the menu bar, tap the “Web Image” icon, and begin searching for your flat lay pieces. To narrow down your searches, specify a color at the beginning, and add “png” at the end of your word search. For example, if you’re looking for a purse and black is among your chosen color theme, typing “black purse png” will lead to a more desirable result, rather than simply searching for “purse”. Adding a “png” is also a protip way of searching for images that have transparent backgrounds.

Step 6: Once you’ve arranged all your pieces and have put together your very own ensemble, tap “Done” and “Save to Library”.

We hope you had fun showcasing your unique style with PicCollage, and don’t forget to tag us in your OOTD-inspired creations with #mypiccollage for a chance to be featured!
