8 Ways to Make a Popular PicCollage Sticker Pack

So you want to make a PicCollage Sticker Pack? The secret to a great sticker pack lies in its content and visual style. Two aspects of a sticker determines what makes a great sticker pack: it has to be both attractive and useful. So what makes a sticker pack both attractive and useful for our users? Check out this video or scroll down for a step-by-step guide for creating the best possible sticker pack.

1. RESEARCH YOUR STICKER PACK’S THEME AND STYLE
Having a thorough research process will help with determining what qualities can make your stickers cohesive as a pack and attractive to a user. An easy way to collect research is to create a Pinterest board for your theme.
2. CREATE A COHESIVE STYLE
The stylistic qualities that make a sticker special are its textures, patterns, opacity, strokes, colors, gradients, and (drop) shadows. How you choose to render them (e.g. vector vs. watercolor vs. photograph) will also affect the style. These traits define and elevate the pack’s style and quality. For example, gold foil texture, stripes, and black, gold, and pink in the grad party pack gave the pack its chic style.

3. CREATE A BALANCED LAYOUT
Make sure that a pack looks balanced and interesting as a whole when viewed in the sticker layout, and not just as individual stickers. Keep in mind that the first three stickers on the first row will be shown when the pack is displayed in the sticker store.

4. ARRANGE ELEMENTS TO HELP USERS CREATE BETTER COLLAGES
Think about how a user places stickers in a collage. Not all of them are natural at arranging elements on a canvas, so it is better to include stickers that have multiple elements organized in a useful way (e.g. heart burst, heart frame) instead of only stickers with single elements (e.g. single heart).

5. PROVIDE STICKERS FOR DIFFERENT PURPOSES
Each pack should have stickers for different uses, such as frames, borders, words, bursts, photobooth elements, single main elements, banners, badges, tabs, washi tape, or gifs. Obviously, one sticker pack probably cannot fit all the items listed here, but the key is to have a good amount of variety that makes sense for the theme.
6. USE STATISTICALLY POPULAR ELEMENTS OR THEMES
Statistically popular stickers include hearts, flowers, smiley faces, pink and red stickers, and accessories such as sunglasses and mustaches. The most popular themes are universal holidays and seasons (e.g. Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Spring).

7. MAKE YOUR STICKERS VISIBLE ON DIFFERENT BACKGROUNDS
It won’t matter how attractive your stickers are if they aren’t visible. For example, line art is less versatile because dark strokes with no fill only stand out against light solid backgrounds. Your stickers might be used with a wide variety of elements, photos, or backgrounds. Details such as contrasting fills and strokes, light or bright tones, and drop shadows make stickers more visible, and thus more useful.

8. TEST YOUR STICKERS IN PICCOLLAGE
Lastly, make sure you have tested your stickers in the app. It might look different on the device, with other backgrounds and photos.
